How It All Started

“Club Stunner” was something he was known for during his years in college, and his love for music and celebrity lifestyle grew through time. One night after leaving the club, Face was hit by a drunk driver and that moment forever changed his life in how perceived life in itself.  During his recovery at home, his urgency for writing became habitual and his skills began to develop.

In 2012 his first show at the University of Central Florida, Face drew a crowd that was overly joyed and excited during his performance that the DJ decided to cut his music in the middle of his set to perform acapella. This later made a staple for him and his brand as an artist. From that point forward, Face had the momentum needed to pursue his new revived passion and has travelled nationally and internationally promoting his music, opening shows, and recording.

Where It’s Going

Since his first encounter of performing, Face has been granted the opportunity to open up for Artists such as Future and other well-known acts. He has performed during both BET Awards and Atlanta's Birthday Bash Weekend. His networking influence has also opened doors to NBA-All Star Weekend, allowing him to rub shoulders with A&Rs for Grand Hustle and Brand Managers for rapper French Montana. Face was internationally one of the first rap artists to travel to Haiti as a young Haitian American to shoot his first music video single, “Boy Ima Zoë”.

As an invitation from France, he has been able to perform as a favorite act and release several projects within a short span of time. This would include but not limit to: “Da Transition” and “Best of Both Worlds,” from his previous project, “Face Time”. Throughout the struggles endured, Face still came out on top and started making noise as a well-renowned artist in the secular world.

Faith Allows Christ Empowerment

How cool is it to be part of an experience where people can discover their passions, and having the privilege to help get them to where they need to be?! It doesn’t get better than that.

Destiny

Face eventually moved to Atlanta to truly pursue his rap career. As he caught the eye of some A&Rs in the industry while it seemed he was finally catching wind to reaching the peak of his music career, the wind was knocked out of him. He later found out that his brother’s murderer had been released from prison. It was during a time that Face had to resist some old demons in his life both spiritually and physically. It seemed his world was caving in, and people’s loyalty and friendship started to fade.

Face recalls hearing the Lord speaking to Him and instruct him to not only change his lifestyle but to change the message in his music. And so, he did.

Revival

Currently, FaceDaZoe is pursuing God fervently in Orlando, FL with his church family and wife by his side. After being baptized in January of 2016, he released the reigns of what once kept him in a bind, to letting God mold the future for his life.

With the collaboration of his influence in music and applying his teachings from his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, his passion overflows in the interactions of youthful students as a teacher.
